Thomas Mackenzie alerted us to a problem where logged in users can peek at trashed posts belonging to other authors. If you have untrusted users signed up on your blog and sensitive posts in the trash, you should upgrade to 2.9.2. As always, you can visit the Tools->Upgrade menu to upgrade.

One of America's oldest universities is going to turn to Google for a lot of new software, according to a new report. Indeed, Yale is supposed to get the whole Google Apps for Education shebang, including email, Google Calendar, and Google Docs. Google's promoted Apps for Education as a cutting-edge and yet user-friendly solution for quite some time. Yale's utilization of it would be quite the PR win, considering how the school's so well regarded.

Google said today it views its relationship with Apple as valuable and does not see any reason for that to change, even with the rumors Microsoft's Bing may replace Google search on the iPhone. "Apple is a very close and valuable partner and we're very excited about the relationship we have with them today. We have no reason to believe that's going to change," said Vic Gundortra, Vice President, Engineering, Google, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
