Sandbox still having issues

We are continuing to work on ongoing Sandbox issues. Currently the CustomerManagement service is not available, which means that the GetAccounts and CustomerSignup methods are not available. If you attempt to make a call to GetAccounts, you will receive "Unauthorized Access". We hope to have this resolved soon, and apologies for the inconvenience. This only applies to the Sandbox environment, the Production environment is not affected. Jeff Dillon,
Sites are buzzing today about what appears to be a misleading product video Apple has produced to sell its iPad. An eight-minute clip on YouTube depicts NYTimes.com on the device at about the 2:04 mark. The clip shows The Times' Video section fully rendered, including a Flash element that sits above an article in the newspaper's Travel section. Here's a screen-grab from the video that shows (apologies for the blurriness) the Video section center-left: But of course,

Exploring Mars With Bing

I remember dreaming as a kid what other planets might be like, and I am sure my parents loved that I stuck all of those glow in the dark stars and planet stickers on the ceiling of my bedroom. I mean really, how many of those floating planet projects did we put together growing up? Im sure that school projects are single handedly keeping the Styrofoam ball industry in business. To be young again! Why the sudden nostalgia for science class?

The Twist Show and Free T-shirt Friday

I never know really where Stefan will be on a daily basis, today he is in Los Angeles talking on this weeks TWIST show at 1:00PM PST with Jason Calacanis discussing Bing. For this weeks Free T-Shirt Friday theme make sure you tune in to watch the show for Stefan to give out the details. One lucky winner this week will not only get a free Bing t-shirt but will also be getting a copy of Brian Soliss book Putting the Public Back into Public Relations .
â??The web has evolved in the last ten years, from simple text pages to rich, interactive applications including video and voice. Unfortunately, very old browsers cannot run many of these new features effectively. So to help ensure your business can use the latest, most advanced web apps, we encourage you to update your browsers as soon as possible. There are many choices: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0+ Mozilla Firefox 3.0+ Google Chrome 4.0+ Safari 3.
On Hacker News , Melvin, from Web Design Company , had a great analogy on the Mahalo business model Let's use a different industry to illustrate what is happening. Let's say a band named The Beatles records a new album. The local radio station gets a copy of their album and plays their song. The listeners love it so they play it more often, but they don't mention who the band is and on their website, they put up a link to download the song... but without any credits.

More PROOF Jason Calacanis is a _

Publicly Jason claims to be ignorant about SEO because it allows him moral flexibility and makes Google less likely to torch his site (even though he is blatantly violating their search quality guidelines, and has for *years* ). But when you look at the sales material that Mahalo pitches to corporations , in the 19 page PDF reads like an à la carte menu of SEO services, rather than sales material from a company ignorant of of SEO.
I was talking to a friend yesterday who was at a conference where Demand Media's CEO spoke, and he stated that nobody asked the big question: "what if google decides they don't like you anymore?" Then I got thinking about how Google torched Squidoo after Jason Calacanis went on his public campaign to rebrand it as spam. But today under the same level of scrutiny, how is Mahalo (which scrapes millions of 3rd party content listings *without any editorial filter*) not spam?
After reading Lee's post earlier this week on how to source content on Twitter , I started to think about the homemade guacamole I made for the football playoff games last weekend. Stick with me here. With my guacamole, I carefully strategize on the right mix of each ingredient to achieve the perfect flavor and consistency. Not enough lemon and lime juice, and the avocados brown too quickly. Too much garlic salt, and the guacamole gets a pungent taste.
by Mike Krumboltz Ayla Brown , daughter of the newly elected Sen. Scott Brown, has a new album. Ms. Brown is no stranger to the spotlight. As a former contestant on "American Idol," she finished among season five's top 16. Still, it took her father's recent win in the Massachusetts Senate race to really raise her online profile. His embarassing, off-the-cuff remarks ("My daughter is available," he quipped, much to his daughter's horror) certainly didn't hurt.
