comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today revealed that 45 U.K. media agencies, including business units of each of the five major agency holding companies, ran more than 275,000 comScore reports in 2009. This represents approximately 23,000 reports per month, or 500 reports per month per agency. The annual total represents a 45 percent increase over 2008 with December 2009 usage up 51 percent versus year ago.

Google has threatened to withdraw from China after a cyber attack by hackers out of China who tried to break into the Gmail accounts of human rights activists. The Google Maps team has been working hard with partner GeoEye to push out an updated imagery of Haiti. The update includes imagery taken at 10:27 am EST on Wednesday, January 13 - approximately 15 hours after the earthquake hit. You can download the KML file to view in Google Earth and the layer is available for viewing in Google Maps as well. The imagery is primarily for Port-Au-Prince. Google says they'll add more imagery, but you only need to download the file once.

Here we go, latest search market statistics released by Nielsen indicates that Google again rules the search market in December. Google gets 67.3% of all the 9.9 billion searches made last December. That's actually 6.7 billion shares conducted on Google's search engine.
