There may come a point at which Google's popularity maxes out, but we haven't reached it yet. A new report from comScore concerning online video sites indicates that the search giant's properties attracted considerably more eyeballs in November than the previous month. In October, comScore counted 126.3 million unique viewers in connection with Google's sites. In November, this number increased to 129.0 million. Meanwhile, Google's share of videos viewed rose from 37.

The majority (79%) of kids age 2-14 have purchased some form of physical or digital content in the past year, with 31 percent acquiring both physical and digital content, according to a new report from The NPD Group. Video rental services and online music services were the most popular among kids ages 2-14 in the past year, with 19 percent using an in-store video rental service, 12 percent using an online video rental service, and 14 percent using an online music service.

Believe it or not, inquiries about online advertising from 2010 election campaigns are already trickling in. I just got off the phone with Diane Rinaldo, VP of Sales at leftie political/news site Talking Points Memo, who told me that some political campaigns are already looking ahead to general elections, and asking for "hard info" about running campaigns on TPM. I imagine that means they're calling other sites, too. "This is early," she added. Indeed it is.

comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today released November 2009 data from the comScore Video Metrix service, showing that more than 170 million U.S. Internet users watched online video during the month. Online video viewing continued to reach record levels in November with nearly 31 billion videos viewed during the month, and Google Sites accounting for 39 percent of all videos viewed online in the U.S.
