Google may have busted the "duplicate content myth" a while back, saying that you don't technically get "penalized" for it, but that doesn't mean it is a good thing. Google has started including Place Pages in Google Earth. Place Pages are the pages that Google sets up for places and businesses that have been accessible via Google Maps for a little while.
