In the article, he explained that Google Voice, with its suite of features and price tag of "free,

Early Monday, we reported that MySpace intended to acquire iLike. This afternoon, during a press conference call, MySpace's CEO, Owen Van Natta, confirmed the deal and discussed a few details. The call marked the first time Van Natta's made a public statement since becoming CEO, and parts of it were very much scripted and by-the-numbers. Take, for example, what Van Natta cited as the first of three reasons MySpace acquired iLike: a "relentless pursuit of innovation.

A New Credit Card on the Block

by Mike Krumboltz There are two kinds of people in this world: those who think credit cards are status symbols, and those who don't. For those who wouldn't be caught dead with anything less than platinum, have we got news for you! Chase has launched a new credit card for their "most affluent customers." The snazzy sounding " Chase Sapphire " is racking up huge numbers in Search . As with most exclusive credit cards, you'll need a nice salary to qualify. According to Bloomberg.
Google announced (subtly) that it is rolling out a series of enhancements to AdSense's contextual targeting capabilities to more accurately match relevant ads to AdSense publishers' pages. Unfortunately, not many details about these enhancements were given away, but Google says AdSense publishers will not have to update their AdSense accounts or ad code. Changes will be applied automatically. "Our machines are very good at the matching process,
Lets say you own the most popular microblogging service on the Internet. Lets say you want to grow that service and make it more valuable to your users (and maybe make money. You wouldnt complain.). So youre going to feature third party apps, but you want to feature the best ones. And naturally, to find the best ones, you turn to . . . your tech blogger friends . Not your millions of users (and thousands of followers),
Don't think that Google and other providers of word processing software aren't watching the Microsoft Vs. i4i Inc. case with interest. Here's a rundown as covered by my eWEEK colleagues if you haven't been following Microsoft's latest legal headache. Last week, a U.S. district court in Texas issued a permanent injunction barring Microsoft from selling recent versions of its Word software because it violates a patent for XML technology held by Canada's i4i. That ruling,
