What happens, though, when your blog gets written by a group of authors? How does a company or community blog find its voice and not just devolve into a schizophrenic mess? Id like to tell you that there's some secret recipe, but honestly,

Blogher or Bust

Bing is headed to Chicago to attend Blogher 09 . We are really looking forward to spending time with a dynamic group of more than 1,400 women bloggers from across the country and from every corner of the blogosphere. With all the walking and talking that will be taking place at Blogher, we thought you may need a few minutes to relax and unwind with complementary micro-massages and micro-makeup retouches.

A study of "800 ordinary computer users" extracted some " shocking " admissions: About 52% click on spamâ?"and several would do it again.

A high court judge in London has just ruled in favor of Google over a landmark case that could perhaps set the precedent for future cases that might be thrown against not only at Google but other Search Engines as well. In the said ruling, Google was deemed not liable for defamatory comments contained in news articles, blogs and forums that are displayed by Google search results.

SIGIR + Microsoft Research = LOVE

Part of what makes working at Microsoft fun is the abundance of smartypants people that I get to work with. The downside is that Bing gets a workout as I casually use my PC to look up words as I talk to them. This week at SIGIR (Special Interest Group for Information Retrieval now you know why they abbreviate it) in Boston, our own Microsoft Research group is showing off some future-looking innovations in the search and information retrieval field. In fact,

YouTube 3D Videos

YouTube now allows uploading of 3D videos, like the one uploaded by BlackShark as pictured above. To trigger the 3D selection menu, you need to use tags like yt3d:enable=true and yt3d:aspect=3:4 , as explained by creator Pete in the support forum . Also, I asked BlackShark what format to upload, and BlackShark explains: You need to upload your left and right views stacked together horizontally in the same video frame.

A 3D Future for YouTube?

Google is testing 3D videos on YouTube. An interesting post in the YouTube Help Center was discovered by Search Engine Roundtable's Barry Schwartz, and a Google employee is apparently using his "20% time" to work on the "stereoscopic player". There is even a test video (at least one) that is live: If you go to the video's page on YouTube, you can check out the following menu for 3D View style, which as you can see,
