If you've exhibited, presented or moderated a Search Engine Strategies conference, it's more than likely that you've had the opportunity to meet Stewart Quealy , VP, Content Development at Incisive Media, parent company to Search Engine Strategies, Search Engine Watch and ClickZ. Should SEO Be Regulated?

Shame on TechCrunch. Not for running an article suggesting that SEO should be regulated (though I disagree), but for running such an article from an anonymous poster . The following post was written by a well known executive at one of the largest sites on the Internet. The author has requested to remain anonymous - not for dramatic effect, but because of the backlash he would receive from the SEO industry and possibly Google itself.
My friend recently searched Google for php time end of day and ended up with a top results from Experts-Exchange.com. Clicking on it , all he got was stuff like "View this solution now by starting your 30-day free trial." Well, we're used to this from Experts-Exchange, and scrolling way down to the bottom where no sane soul would scroll to usually fixes the problem, right? Adgooroo has released their quarterly search engine advertising report, and despite the launch of Bing in June, things have remained pretty much the same.
