When should you put a bullet in their heads and just start over? Sometimes it isn't working and you know it isn't working. So what should you do? You know you should keep plugging away, but your current direction is all wrong. It's time to pull the plug. You just know it.

Microsoft's Bing isn't the only "decision engine" in town anymore, with today's launch of Hunch. Hunch is a new site that aims to connect people based on their answers to several questions, from "Where is your house located?" to "Do you like bumper cars?" As users answer questions, hunch learns more about them. The service then helps the user make decisions, such as where to go on vacation, or what kind of car to buy,

Niche sites exist, by their own definitions, to fill the gaps left behind by their larger, less focused competitors. However, have those gaps really been left behind because the larger site is inept, or because their focus was in a different place all along? Enter PageRank sculpting. For years, large sites have focused PageRank flow to broader, more easily monetized, landing pages. They've sacrificed much of their deeper content to do so. This deep content, as it turns out,

After talking up the reddit community for the last four years, we're going to let give employers the chance to tap into the best of the web. And frankly, most of the jobs boards we've seen over the years have been weaksauce . We wanted something dead simple - something that would attract the kind of jobseekers who spurn the PR BS (new acronym, anyone?). In the interest of minimizing said PR-BS, here's our new job board: http://redditJobs.
