Posted by randfish It's been a long time since we had a differential diagnosis post here on SEOmoz, but we've been getting lots of comments and emails requesting some mysteries, so here goes: #1 - Who, Exactly, is Awesome, and Why? I agree with the sentiment of the second result, Google is an awesome product, but this ranking is very bizarre given the content and links pointing to this page/site.

comScore has just released April 2009 data from the comScore Video Metrix service, which shows that nearly 152 million U.S. Internet users watched 16.8 billion online videos during the month, representing an increase of 16 percent over March. This means 78.6 percent of the total U.S. Internet audience viewed online video in April, and the average online video viewer watched 385 minutes of video, or 6.4 hours. Google has released a Firefox add-on called Page Speed . It integrates with another add-on, Firebug , and is aimed at web developers trying to make their pages faster. "Page Speed is a tool we've been using internally to improve the performance of our web pages," Google writes . To use this, once you installed Page Speed and restarted Firefox, expand Firebug and switch to the Page Speed tool tab. Move to your page, then click the Analyze Performance button.
