Creating websites and publishing on the web is getting simpler and simpler all the time, but with more content on the web it is becoming harder for webmasters and publishers to ensure that their content can be found. Last fall when we launched the Live Search Webmaster Center in beta , the goal was to establish a long term relationship with webmasters and help them achieve their goals by addressing the most common questions we hear,

Batman vs. Elmo?

The Caped Crusader has already crushed the box office, must he dominate innocent felted Muppets, too? The hotly anticipated Elmo Live will make his retail debut in October. The talented little guy sings, cracks jokes, and tilts his head. After Elmo's spectacular showing at the industry toy fair, retailers talked excitedly of a " crush of consumer demand " for the mobile plaything. Yesterday, stores began accepting pre-orders for the king of cute.

The latest, Insights for Search (I4S to the kids?) is already a hit around the Reprise Media offices ??" allowing for quick and easy keyword research by geography and comparative volume. We Got Your Complaints Right Here

Life is full of little disappointments. Most people take 'em in stride, but not everyone can let bygones be bygones. Over the past few days, several people have called 911 to report, to put it mildly, "non-urgent issues." One person called the emergency line after a Subway restaurant left the hot sauce off his sandwich . Sheesh, why not call the FBI, too? Another person dialed 911 after he lost some money in a slot machine .

AOL told investors yesterday during its earnings call that Tacoda and Quigo are now fully Integrated in Platform A and can be used across all of AOL and third party network inventory (read: Advertising.com). Whether that integration will assist AOL's Platform A in garnering more premium, guaranteed ad dollars is another thing. The company experienced a drop in display ad revenues of 14 percent in Q2 from Q2 2007. Apparently they sold more ad units, but at lower CPMs.

Flash and SEO: Like Oil and Water

by Scott Buresh We often deal with clients that are planning to "revamp" their sites with Flash, with SEO having already generated tremendous gains in their sales. The thing that we most dread to hear is that they've hired an experienced "Flash designer" that will be taking their websites to the "next level." Unfortunately, that "next level" is often the basement - at least in terms of SEO results.
